POWINS MV Switchgear
The range of POWINS’ GELPAG Air Insulated and Solid dielectric Medium Voltage switchgear, has been designed and type tested to the requirements of IEC 62271 for the Australian market.
The GELPAG Primary withdrawable air insulated switchgear was released 2019, following that in 2020, both the GELPAG Primary fixed pattern solid dielectric switchgear and GELPAG Secondary fixed pattern solid dielectric (Ring Main Unit) switchgear range were successfully released.
The GELPAG solid dielectric fixed pattern switchgear is a “new age development” in high current rated “non-gas” switchgear, as the world moves away from traditional green house gas insulated switchgear platforms.
The GELPAG Medium Voltage Switchgear range is summarised as follows;
GELPAG Primary withdrawable air insulated switchgear is rated for voltages up to and including 12kV, 4000A, ≤ 40kA/4sec short circuit rating and ≤ 40kA/1sec IAC A-FLR rating.
GELPAG Primary fixed pattern solid dielectric switchgear is rated for voltages up to and including 12kV, 2500A, ≤ 40kA/4sec short circuit rating and ≤ 40kA/1sec IAC A-FLR rating.
GELPAG Secondary fixed pattern solid dielectric switchgear is rated for voltages up to and including 12kV, 630A, ≤ 20kA/4sec short circuit rating and ≤ 20kA/1sec IAC A-FLR rating.
The POWINS “safety by design” focus is incorporated in the new release of this “evolution of MV switchgear ” which incorporates technological advancements and improved safety features.
